Adult women dress up like whores.
Children go door to door to get candy from neighbors that they and their parents never socialize with on any of the 364 other days of the year.
It's a fun, strange tradition.
When we were young, we were constantly informed about evil people who put razor blades into candy bars or apples (as if any children actually ate apples). Did this actually ever happen? What kind of people would purposely try to cut up the insides of children?
I'm dressing up as a 35 year old smartass, who nonetheless remembers how exciting this holiday used to be. Also, I give kids the best candy, and I give them A LOT of it.
